It’s been raining bananas in our house for the past one month, literally! 🙂 Two plants (or are they trees?) decided to bear fruits at the same time and also ripen at the same time and so we were left with tonnes of Bananas. After all the distribution, we were still left with lots. It gets boring to keep eating the fruit as it is after a while. So decided to bake a lovely Banana bread with these golden beauties and here it is for you all to enjoy 🙂
Ramya is a sweet friend of mine whom I got to know through a Facebook group and have grown to know and respect and care for each other in a short while. We have met a couple of times and enjoyed each other’s company. Today is her birthday and here is my virtual wish for her with this lovely bread 🙂 Happy birthday Ramya! May you have many many many more happy years!! 🙂
This is a wonderfully aromatic bread made with Organic Wholewheat flour, Organic Bananas, Organic unbleached cane sugar. It is eggless and low in fat as it contains oil. The bread looks lovely with the speckled look of the green Pistachios. I followed this recipe with slight modifications.
